Dave and Micah were Special Guests at the Phoenix Anime Fest 2006 held at the Wyndam Hotel in downtown Phoenix, AZ. Besides having a table set-up with our usual killer BT swag Dave put on 3 panels. Two for aspiring creators called Basics of Storytelling and Traditional Inking and one with other local creators from the AZCBA. Thanks to NOTIC for helping out with photos. |

| Con-Sequential Comic Book Convention 2006, Memphis, TN |

If you didn't attend the Con-Sequential Convention you simply missed out. In addition to the usual convention activities there was the Cartooniversity program. For two days aspiring professionals attended classes taught by Earl Kress (Pinky & the Brain), Greg Weisman (Gargoyles), Mike Manley (Dark Hawk, Batman), Bret Blevins (New Mutants, Redwall), Mike Norton (X-men, Runaways), Steve Stanley (Batman, Star Trek), Greg Cravens (The Bucketts) and too many more Pro's to list (Even Team Bushi Tales). On Saturday night the MSCA held it's first Cravens awards show and presented awards for the best of 2006. Winners were Best Single Panel Cartoon- Antone Wade, Best Sinlge Comic Strip & Best Comic Strip Series- Andrew Chandler, Best Cover Art- Janet Wade, Best Comic Book- Bushi Tales #1 and Lifetime Achievement Award - Greg Cravens. Thanks to the staff and guests for putting on such a good show.

FREE Comic Book Day was fun. Bushi Tales creator Dave Beaty and inker Micah Stewart were at Samurai Comics in Phoenix, AZ and BT co-creator Lin Workman was at Comics & Collectibles in Memphis, TN. Also appearing at Samurai Comics was The Passage creator Mark Rude and Comics and Collectibles hosted Antone and Janet Wade from Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa.

| Stargodz promo video 1999 |

 In 1999 Stargodz was in development to become a feature film. And production of the comic series was halted temporarily to focus on the movie deal. Unfortunately the movie deal fell through and Stargodz was no more. Here for the first time ever are promotional images and artwork from the 1999 promo video which was produced for John Gertz Productions (Which produced Mask of Zorro).

Mid South Con was held in Memphis, TN. This was Bushi Tales OFFICIAL launch as the online comic started on the first day of the convention. On display at the convention were the original prototypes for RA and Athena from Stargodz. Both Lin Workman and Dave Beaty were guests.
